Wonderful

Team, place. Very heplful administrator, who really helped.

Kettles are necessary for people who used to have pills with warm water (not to search it throughout the city). I think for this price it's possible to place kettles in each room, like in the other hotels of this net. It could be cleaner, for this price.

Good hotel in great location.

The location is excellent - plenty of walking to local restaurants and easy access to tours. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast buffet had a lot of options (including for dietary restrictions).

Shower stall is a little small and has maybe some mold and cracks in the grout.

Great spot: immediately op the bus stop to Santa World. Very easy to walk into town. Amazing breakfast. Nice sauna. Lovely staff. Good sized rooms. Was great for a family with three kids 14 and below.

Nice Hotel conveniently located in the heart of Rovaniemi

Nice hotel in the centre of Rovaniemi, conveniently located next to the main square and pedestrian area, as well as in front of the bus stop and mall. Relatively spacious bathroom and room and quite various breakfast buffet. Attentive and helpful and cordial reception staff.

Room was not particularly clean (shower floor with hairs and shelves with layer of dust), though, considering high guests turnover and tight timeframe to get the room ready, it is kind of understandable. Awful miniature pillow, almost non-existent

A great choice for anyone visiting Rovaniemi!

We had a wonderful stay at Scandic Rovaniemi City. The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Rovaniemi!

Very cold...

Hotel is in the city center. You can reach the supermarket easily, also the bus stops across the street near the hotel. Duoble bed was comfortable enough. It was nice to have an ability to have tea at our room.

It was very cold in the hotel - in the room, the restaurant, at the breakfast area, I don't think, that it is normal. Also the bed for kid (9 year old) was very uncomfortable to sleep, ar was very small :( Also in the shower was bad cabin door, because after taking a shower all floor was in the water (lots of cleaning every time). Come on Scandic, you can do better! We believe in you ;)

What was the highlight of Scandic Rovaniemi City

Good

The location was really convenient and only a 10-min drive from the airport with access to restaurants and shops immediately as you step out. Having an in-house empty sauna was a treat. You need to be careful though because taxi drivers across have full view of the women's change room. Their restaurant had delicious dishes and the staff was really warm and helpful. It was convenient for the last night. There were just too many guests and orders for one person to take on all by themselves though.

Cleanliness of the room and bathroom wasn't great. There were bits of things on the bathroom floor and carpet from lint, to dust, to chocolate-looking bits. The bathroom garbage can wasn’t empty upon arrival. The shower is also very tiny. They don't make your beds. They simply put back the decorative pillows on the bed to think that they did, but they didn't even bother to fix and smoothen out the duvet. Towels that were not hung, but left on the counter (signal to please replace) were not changed. I had to go out into the corridor and ask the housekeeping staff for fresh towels - something important since you are requested to bring your room towels when you visit the sauna. The breakfast tables are also not cleared often so it took a while to find a table or staff to clear it. I had laundry done and the ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful and professional. When I went to collect my laundry, the guy at the counter said he wouldn't know if my laundry was done because he just gotten there. His response was impolite, unprofessional, and unbecoming as a member of any customer service staff, what more, the front desk. To top it off, newly laundered items smelled like a wet dog. It seems like the laundry partner packed it right away even if the clothes were still damp. It wasn't cheap, mind you. It was all a waste and a terrible experience.

A good hotel with an excellent location and very good breakfast.

Located in the centre of the city, a mall is on the opposite and a Burger King just next to it. Breakfast was very good. Cleaning service was ok. Staff was very nice.

The room was a bit cold for us. During having a shower the water ran out of the shower box, so the bathroom was always wet. We had a dinner in the restaurant, which was full of people and there was only one waitress, so we had to wait for the dessert more than 1 hour after finishing the main dish.

Location was ideal in centre for exploring Rovaniemi and had underground car park to keep the car snow and frost free.

Bright 24 hour signage from Burger King restaurant that was directly opposite lit up our room making it difficult to sleep sometimes
